Okay so I’ve been a little quiet on the blog lately sorry, but it’s only because I’ve been so focused on getting facebook advertising wired! I’m happy to say, it’s all working out REALLY well now. After doing a bunch of testing and research over the past few weeks I’ve managed to go from losing money and making no sales on my campaigns to achieving 22% conversion ratios and average ROI of around 300%
Sounds good huh? That’s a massive improvement on what I’m getting on AdWords, but what’s most rewarding for me is that I’ve figured out how to make facebook advertising work! When I started out advertising on FB last month, I thought it would be enough to simply migrate my AdWords campaigns and Google way of thinking across. Oh how wrong I was! The Google PPC methods do not work on FB, so I had to relearn everything from scratch before doing LARGE amounts of experimenting with different campaigns, niches and landing pages.
Finally, I’ve got a system that is profiting extremely well on autopilot and the money is truly passive! Mmmmm, the best type of income
There is so much I want to share and I’m seriously SUPER EXCITED about the potential of facebook advertising….
I can see this being my obsession for the next 6 months as I continue researching and experimenting, so watch this space as I promise to post as many tips and tutorials as I can. Given that I don’t offer much AdWords coaching anymore, I think I’ll put together a solid training course on facebook advertising along with a coaching program. Send me a note if you’re interested in learning how you can use the power of social media to gain more customers or increase your turnover.
Here’s just a few juicy facts on Facebook for you to consider….
- Facebook USA now gets more daily traffic than Google
- If Facebook were a country, it would be the 3rd largest in the world (population 300M+)
- On average, facebook users spend 4 hrs per day on the site (Google gets a few seconds of time)
- Facebook advertising is not crowded or competitive (unlike Google AdWords)
- Facebooks’ ad manager is simple to use when setting up campaigns (unlike Google AdWords)
- Facebook will actually tell you what’s wrong with your ad if it’s rejected (unlike Google AdWords)
- Facebook allows you to target people based upon their demographics (unlike Google AdWords)
Seriously, I could just go on and on about the benefits of Facebook advertising all day. But it’s Monday morning right now and I’m about to setup some new campaigns so off I must go… PLEASE KEEP WATCHING FOR UPDATES ON FACEBOOK ADVERTISING :)
