How to find a niche

When you want to know how to find a niche that is in demand and selling, the sales stats in Clickbank are just as valuable as Amazon. CB stats are probably one of the best places to find a niche when you’re researching ideas for an ebook, as they are focused just on information products and digital downloads. The CB marketplace straight up tells you what is popular, what is selling, and also what is not.

In just a few minutes you can search or browse your way through the categories and find a niche that is selling well. From that, you can simply research the top products to find what they’re missing out on and create an info product that has those sections plus more. In essence, Clickbank allows you to gather market research data at someone else’s expense. If that isn’t leverage, I don’t know what is!

The clickbank marketplace has had a slight face lift recently so to find a niche you must first select a category from the list on the left of the page. From there, you will be presented with an ordered listed that are sorted by default as popularity. I like to hit the drop down on the top of that list and sort results by gravity, then I can see what is the best selling info product for that particular niche. If the top product has a decent gravity score then you can look into the search stats (using any type of keyword tool you want) in order to judge how much traffic the niche receives.

If you don’t want to use the category method of finding popular products/niches on clickbank then just use the search box on the marketplace page to look for the exact niche you are investigating.
